Dr. Peters grew up in Pasadena, TX and graduated from South Houston High School in 1992. She then graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BS in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University in 1996. She then decided to pursue dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. In 2000, Dr. Peters earned her DDS degree as Magna Cum Laude with Honors in Research.
Dr. Peters spent the first 12 years of her career in the Houston area. She owned a private practice in the Atascocita area and after selling due to the desire to spend more time with her young family, she taught at the University of Texas School of Dentistry. At the dental school, she taught senior dental students in Clinic, was head of the Senior Removable Partial Denture course, and Director of the Hope Clinic elective which took dental students to a non-profit clinic in Alvin, TX to perform dentistry.
She is dedicated to providing quality cosmetic and restorative dentistry to her patients in a kind and honest way. She is dedicated to continuing education and seeks to grow in her profession for the benefit of her patients.
Dr. Peters and her husband, Richard, have been married since 1996 and are the proud parents of two boys, Preston and Nolan. Dr. Peters enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and teaching in the Dental Hygiene program at TJC and as volunteer faculty at the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston.
