A native Texan, Dr. Hamons graduated as salutatorian of his high school class in Hardin, Texas before earning a BS in biology with a minor in chemistry from Sam Houston University. He received many honors and awards during his undergraduate career and decided to further his education at the University of Texas Health Science Center. In 2000, Dr. Hamons graduated magna cum laude with his doctorate in dental surgery (DDS) degree. While in graduate school, Dr. Hamons was recognized for his Outstanding Achievement in Prosthodontics (replacement teeth) by the Southwest Prosthodontic Society.
Dr. Hamons joined Whitehouse Family Dentistry in July of 2000 as an associate and became a partner in March of 2007. He is dedicated to providing quality cosmetic and restorative dental procedures to his patients in a warm and friendly environment. He is a strong believer in patient education, and he is both compassionate and confident with dental procedures that he performs.
Devoted to continuing education, Dr. Hamons regularly attends professional association meetings. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, East Texas Dental Association, and the Smith County Dental Society. His dedication to his patients has begun to stretch beyond the borders of our dental office, and he has volunteered with dental mission trips that travel to other countries and also volunteers regularly at a local community clinic, Bethesda Health Clinic. During both the summers of 2006 and 2007, he went to Brazil with Amazon Outreach to provide dental services to the people of the Amazon region, and he anticipates many more trips throughout his dental career.
Dr. Hamons and his wife, Karrie, have been married since 1996 and are the proud parents of twins, Ethan and Emma. He and his family have a strong sense of family and of God. In his free time, Dr. Hamons enjoys spending time with his family, scuba diving, and working outdoors.
Dr. Peters grew up in Pasadena, TX and graduated from South Houston High School in 1992. Afterwards, she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BS in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University in 1996. She then decided to pursue dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. In 2000, Dr. Peters earned her DDS degree as Magna Cum Laude with Honors in Research. Dr. Peters and Dr. Hamons were in the same dental school graduating class.
Dr. Peters spent the first 12 years of her career in the Houston area. She owned a private practice in the Atascocita area and after selling due to the desire to spend more time with her young family, she taught at the University of Texas School of Dentistry. At the dental school, she enjoyed teaching senior dental students and contributing to her profession.
When Dr. Parsons decided to transition out of private practice, Dr. Hamons and his wife invited Dr. Peters and her family to come to Whitehouse. Having remained friends over the years, they had visited the area many times and were excited for the opportunity.
She came to Whitehouse Family Dentistry in 2012 as an associate and bought Dr. Parson’s part of the practice in 2014. She knows she is stepping into a wonderful practice and is dedicated to providing quality cosmetic and restorative dentistry to her patients in a kind and honest way. She is dedicated to continuing education and seeks to grow in her profession for the benefit of her patients.
Dr. Peters and her husband, Richard, have been married since 1996 and are the proud parents of two boys, Preston and Nolan. Dr. Peters enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and camping.
Cindy has been with our office since March of 1996. She began working as a chairside assistant and has learned the dental business from the ground up. Over the years, Cindy has established close relationships with her coworkers and our patients. She loves seeing patients smile again after years of inaccessibility to dental treatment. She’s proud to work with doctors who genuinely care for their patients. Cindy and her husband, Bart, have two grown daughters, Laura and Elizabeth. Both daughters are married and have blessed Cindy’s life with five handsome grandsons, Jacob, Matthew, Luke, Lane and Landen. Active in a Christian home fellowship, Cindy enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, taking walks with her husband, and reading.
Sharon has been our insurance specialist since 2003, and she has over 30 years of experience in the medical and dental fields. She’s developed close relationships with our patients and her co-workers over the years, and she’s pleased to work with a group of people that she considers her extended family. She strives to maximize insurance benefits for every patient, and she takes pride in the abundance of successful claims. Sharon is married to Kyle. She has two children, Joshua and Lacey, and four grandchildren, Nathan, Maddy, Kyndal, Hadley. When she’s not spoiling her grandchildren, Sharon enjoys playing the piano and going on cruises.
Regina became apart of our team as hygiene coordinator in 2012. She has over 30 years of experience in the medical and dental fields. She has been an active part of the Whitehouse community and enjoys getting to know patients and their families. She will make you feel at ease with just her warm greeting and smile. Regina is married to Denny Whitley, Whitehouse High School Band Director. She has four grown children, Steve, Randy, Melody and Jamey and three grandchildren, Sydney, Rowan, and Paul.
Linda joined our team in June of 2003 as an assistant before earning her current title. She enjoys working with our fun-loving team and thrives in our energetic and friendly atmosphere. Seeing our patients leave with improved self-confidence and bright smiles makes Linda’s job very rewarding. She loves being part of a team that makes dreams come true. Married to her high school sweetheart, Tim, for 36 years, Linda has two grown children, Aaron and Amber. She spends spare time with family and also enjoys shopping and decorating.
Jackie has enjoyed her career in dentistry, having over 25 years of experience. She holds an associate’s degree in applied science, and she’s been a member of our team since 1993. She feels lucky to work with a group of people who she also considers her close, personal friends, and she has developed lasting relationships with many of our patients. Serving people in a healthful manner provides Jackie with a great sense of personal and professional satisfaction. Jackie resides in Mixon with her husband, Scott, and a variety of critters, including goats and cattle. She has two grown children, Sarah and Justin and one grandchild, Avery. Jackie enjoys free time spent raising Lowline Angus cattle and showing prize dairy goats. She also grows her own fruits and vegetables and makes homemade goat cheese and soap.
Suzanne holds a BA from Texas A&M University, as well as an AS from Darton College, where she graduated summa cum laude and received the Outstanding Dental Hygiene Student award. She has over 12 years of experience in dentistry and has been with our practice since 2007. Suzanne never tires of providing oral health services, and she loves seeing the enthusiasm of patients who want to keep healthy, beautiful smiles throughout their lifetimes.
Suzanne and her husband, Rob, have been married since 1995, and they’re proud owners of two cats, Shelby and Riley, who graciously allow Suzanne and Rob to reside in their home. Suzanne’s personal interests include music (the Texas Tenors and Journey!), traveling, photography, scrapbooking, and she’s a member of the Welcome Home Soldiers Group.
Debbie has 40 years of experience in dentistry, and she’s been a member of our team since 1998. She received her dental training from Tyler Junior College. Debbie’s career path perfectly complements her desire to help people, and she enjoys working with our team to make a difference in people’s lives by giving them optimal dental health. Debbie and her husband, Stelvin, have five children, Kevin, Brandon, Aaron, Jennifer and Joshua. She has been blessed with five grandchildren, Harley, Sadie, Tredin, Jase, and Hannah. In her free time, she enjoys reading and camping. Debbie has a passion for global and local missions and her church family.

She’s pleased to be part of a team that works so well together. Happily married to Jay for over 30 years, Debbie and her husband have three children, Caysi, Caleb, and Cayti, and four grandchildren, Mack, McKinley, Sophie, and Olivia. Skiing in the Rockies, spending time with family, and curling up with a good book are a few of Debbie’s favorite pastimes.

Camille has studied at Paris Junior College and has dental assisting training from Tyler Junior College. She joined Whitehouse Family Dentistry in 2009 and has blended wonderfully with our team. She loves helping others and is a self-proclaimed “people person.” This profession suits her well, as she enjoys staying busy and learning new things every day. Camille and her husband, Kelly, have two children, Justin and Shelby. While away from the office, Camille spends spare time shopping, decorating, camping, taking long walks, and vacationing. She’s also a sports enthusiast and enjoys Whitehouse and Aggie football.

Since joining our team in 2014, Yudis has proven to be a valuable addition. She puts the patient’s needs as top priority and does what she can to make their visit the best it can be. She is happy to be in the dental field since it has always interested her. Loving what you do has enabled her to excel as an assistant. Mother to a sweet little boy, Marcous, she enjoys spending time with him and her family. Originally from the Washington DC/Virginia area, she is happy to be living in East Texas where life allows you to spend time with family and friends.
